Job Title: Healthcare IT Systems Engineer Project Lead- W2 Only

Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid/Onsite as required)

Job Description:

IRG Clients is seeking a System Center Service Manager Administrator to join a dynamic and forward-thinking IT organization supporting statewide technology initiatives in the healthcare sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-level infrastructure projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to innovation in public health technology.The selected candidate will oversee System Center operations, develop automated workflows, and maintain integrations across related tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM) infrastructure and intake processes.
  • Design, create, and maintain workflows using System Center Orchestrator.
  • Work within the Cireson web portal, including JavaScript updates and vendor coordination for service requests.
  • Apply patches, perform updates, and ensure stability across System Center, Orchestrator, and Cireson environments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, management, and vendors to collect requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Service Manager environment.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reporting, and productivity.
  • Lead a project to migrate the existing Service Manager environment to current standards.
  • Provide after-hours support as needed for projects and platform maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a development or administrative role supporting Microsoft System Center, with a strong grasp of best practices and enterprise-level implementations.
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration.
  • Experience working within an IT methodology framework (ITIL, MITA, etc.).

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with System Center Service Manager, Cireson, and System Center Orchestrator.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, PowerShell, Power BI, SQL, HTML, and XML.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory and network/server operations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT standards (HIPAA, CDC requirements, etc.).
  • Experience leading or supporting large-scale project implementations.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (5+ years).
  • Preferred: Microsoft Server Administration Certifications.
