Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Cincinnati, OH/San Jose, CA/Charlotte, NC/Boca Raton, FL/Chicago, IL/Portland, OR

Duration: 12+ Months contract to hire

    • Candidates must be located within 60 miles of a hub city (Cincinnati, Chicago, Portland, Charlotte, San Jose, Boca Raton).
    • Expectation to manage 2 teams from the beginning of the contract.
    • Ideal candidates will have diversified work experience beyond Scrum Master role.
    • Top skills: Agile, business experience, communication, and collaboration.
    • Supply Chain experience is a plus!


Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. As a servant leader and coach, you will guide a cross-functional agile team operating in complex and cross-functional work across the Security, Data, and Networking domains related to cloud transformation. Your role involves facilitating Scrum and/or Kanban teams within a large, fast-paced program that implements complex technology solutions for business-oriented outcomes. By effectively applying agile-based SDLC (Software Delivery Life Cycle) practices and associated ceremonies, you will ensure the team follows agreed-upon agile principles. Your focus will be on continuous improvement, resulting in high-quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Scrum Master Experience:
    • Proven track record in a complex, large-scale enterprise environment.
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) from other roles (e.g., quality assurance, development, product owner, or agile coach).
  • Agile Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
    • Ability to communicate agile concepts effectively within the organization.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Demonstrated leadership skills to mentor and guide the team.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse personalities.
  • Organizational Skills:
    • Exceptional communication, organization, and time management abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple agile teams and balance PMO, business, and technology needs.
  • Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail:
    • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
