Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
Qualifications:
Entry-level engineer
Ability to work flexible hours to support the production line
Experience using Creo or similar software
Experience problem-solving
Proficient communication while working with a team
Top skills:
Experience with product verification and validation processes
Strong experience in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with SAP
Experience with assembly line process and documentation
Experience with weld process and documentation
Job requirements:
As a Design Engineer for John Deere, you will:
Provide design support and troubleshooting for the Windrower Platform production line
Produce and/or evaluate possible design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications.
This may include possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management, and/or supplier personnel.
Determines engineering specifications that must be fulfilled for routine problems or projects.
Analyze the test plan for product verification and validation of design changes
