Job Title: Technical Program Manager (TPM)
Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead high-impact enterprise initiatives in a fast-paced, security-focused environment. The role demands strong technical acumen, hands-on leadership across multiple Agile teams, and the ability to deliver results through collaboration, innovation, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor Agile teams delivering secure, scalable web service platforms
- Champion the use of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and act as Scrum Master when needed
- Drive technical programs involving information security, privileged access management, and enterprise integrations
- Guide architectural decisions and platform strategy through deep understanding of system capabilities and cross-team dependencies
- Remove impediments, identify risks, and ensure timely resolution to deliver successful outcomes
- Conduct platform-wide performance analysis and metrics-driven improvements
- Communicate program vision, objectives, and progress to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, security, product, DevOps) across geographic locations
- Own program-level KPIs, roadmaps, and delivery milestones with full autonomy
- Promote a culture of safety, psychological trust, and continuous learning within teams
- Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting through JIRA, Confluence, Rally, and other Agile tools
- Contribute to code reviews, change management, and best practices adoption
Required Skills & Experience:
- 9-12+ years of program/project management experience in technical delivery environments
- Strong background in full-stack engineering with technologies including Linux, Golang, Java (Spring Boot, J2EE, Hibernate, JPA)
- Excellent understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Agile frameworks, and secure coding practices
- Experience designing and operating shared service platforms at enterprise scale
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Remedy, Splunk, and metrics-driven dashboards
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to mentor teams and align technical execution with strategic goals
- Experience with Teleport and Privileged Access Management concepts is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline (Master s preferred)
- Expert knowledge of software development life cycles, delivery models, and technical program frameworks
- Strong emotional intelligence, proactive mindset, and a relentless drive for results
