LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting an Infrastructure Microsoft (SME III) to support our contract at IRS/CI based in Fairfax, Virginia.

LOCATION : 100% REMOTE

Position Overview:

LinTech Global is looking for a candidate to join our team as an Infrastructure Microsoft SME to provide support to the IRS-CI Tech Ops client in the Technical Operations Center & Business Development Services. This task includes the oversight and governance of IT projects and contracts as well as IT request management.

The TOC team requires various types of services for numerous multi-disciplinary Information Technology services to support the overall infrastructure on which all CI IT Systems rely upon to function in a highly regulated environment.

BSD supports automation of Business Line processes and applications. Through modernization initiatives, BSD requires experienced Microsoft (MS) Power Platform solution developers and resources to ensure CI delivers solutions using the set of Power Platforms including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.

Job Duties:

Supporting Subtasks Lines to be successfully managed and aligned to the Executive Office PPPM strategy.

Business Systems Development

BSD requires the services and support of the contractor to ensure they are delivering business

improvement and IT projects in support of the CI Tech Ops mission and the fulfillment of the CI

business vision and strategic mission

BUSINESS LINE APPLICATIONS - POWER PLATFORM
  • The development and deployment of error free modernized applications using Microsoft Power Platform solutions supporting the CI Mission. Validation of the completed solutions meets all requirements and operates with the required endpoints and peripherals and accessories as described in requirements. Follows agile continuous deployment pipeline.

In addition to the requirements stated above:
  • Provide complex process flow charts and diagrams, and presentations
  • Complete required IRS or CI processes - Front Door, Intake, Security Change Request, Unified Work Requests, etc.
  • Provide presentations and formal or informal briefings to various audiences as needed

Technical Operations Center

The TOC team provides IT Infrastructure support for all IRS Criminal Investigations environments and Information Technology assets - both on and off premise utilized to support the IRS's CI mission and managed by CI Technology Operation. This includes activities such as evaluating CI's current strategy, assessing the environment, defining, and documenting potential risks, and key priorities as well as assisting in the planning and designing new and updated processes, tools, and interfaces. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for supporting the planning and design of existing and future Infrastructure technologies in alignment with the Enterprise Architecture current and future state and the overall Tech Ops Portfolio.

DATA CENTER AND CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES (DCIS)
  • CLOUD SUPPORT
    • Fully supported transition of existing products to cloud based technologies or implementation of new initiatives to cloud-based services. All work will be aligned with the IRS-CI portfolio in alignment to business goals and fully compliant with IRS-CI security requirements. Fully documented Architecture, Engineering, Administrator Guides, SOP sufficient for handoff.

In addition to the requirements stated above:
  • Provide technical support of Cloud Technologies to include AWS, M365, Azure, Google, Nutanix, and others as needed to include all aspects of the Cloud, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS). Will provide but is not limited to the following support activities: Patching, compliance checking, infrastructure, security. PKI, server and workstation builds, documentation (SOPs, runbooks, diagrams, etc.), reporting and other areas as needed.
  • Provide architecture and engineering services to design and ensure alignment with the IRS-CI portfolio and roadmap for transitioning, implementing, managing or maintaining cloud solutions.
  • Shall assess current solutions and map existing technologies to cloud solutions.
  • Shall produce a gap report of technologies without solutions and make recommendations aligning to CI standards or new solutions as appropriate.
  • Shall implement and fully document the Cloud Migration or implementation solutions and roadmap and provide training to hand off maintenance.
  • Shall keep the Migration and Roadmap plan and configuration current
  • Provides lifecycle management related to Cloud
  • Analyze, recommend, develop and deploy configuration changes to existing solutions to ensure standardization, decrease cost, complexity and/or risk and increase security and business continuity.
  • Recommend, engineer, and deploy new solutions to ensure standardization, decrease cost, complexity and/or risk and increase security and business continuity. Preparing required documentation including program-level, project, admin, help desk, and user-level documentation.
  • Shall provide documentation supporting cloud transition compliance with IRS-CI policies.
  • Shall attend meetings and provide presentations to peers or leadership, provide standard administrator guides to include SOP or other supporting documents, provide necessary demonstrations, training and coaching to staff for understanding and ability to fully administer services.
  • Independently researches IRS required processes such as Cloud Front Door, Security Change Request, Firewall Change Request, ELC path, etc. and completes processes and documents required to implement systems or system changes.
  • Uses Change & Configuration Management and/or ELC processes to implement approved solutions. Completes documentation in support of these processes.
  • Ensure alignment with the IRS-CI portfolio and standards and maintain security compliance with STIG, CI, IRS or other Federal of Cybersecurity requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • S. in?related?field.
  • Must?have?expert?technical?knowledge?and?7?+?years of demonstrated?experience?in?application development and programming.
  • Proven leadership in engineering, support, and maintenance of cloud environments, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and mobility solutions.
  • Technical SME: Act as the subject matter expert for the agency's messaging and collaboration infrastructure, a ccess management, and business analytics.
  • Expertise in large scale enterprise architecture deployments, configuration management, migration, and support.
  • Power Apps & Flow Automation: Develop and manage automated workflows using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate, to include Power BI dashboard development and maintenance.
  • Strong grasp of Business Process Engineering (BPE), IT portfolio governance, and Digital Modernization execution.
  • Ability to develop business relationships with government contractual stakeholders to secure long-term renewal and augmentation of services.
  • Skilled in bridging high-level strategy with actionable, compliant technical delivery while mentoring team members.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.

Preferred Certifications and Experience in:
  • SAFe/Agile experience
  • Multi-cloud Architecture Strategy and Experience (AWS, Azure) Cross-cloud architecture experience for secure, hybrid CI environments.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
