Position Overview

As a Software Architect Sr within Retail Tech Architecture and Innovation organization, You will be based either in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Dallas, TX. or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.
Your responsibilities will cross the industry disciplines of solution, application, data, integration, and business.
You will be required to interact with technology teams to deliver innovative solutions built on our next generation architectures.
You will be required to interact with business and technology partners, setting direction, gaining consensus, and leading our technology organization.
In your role, you will draw upon your leadership experience to drive others. Self-direction is required.
You will also work closely with architects and developers to ensure that all technology initiatives are implemented within the existing or planned framework for each project.
You will be required to understand complex systems and the interactions with other complex systems as well as the architecture competencies we will grow within the team.
You will develop long-range strategies based on technical trends and business forecasts.

Qualifications:
Multiple years' experience with technical architecture and design
Working background in various architecture disciplines
Application Delivery, Solution Design, Data, Cyber Security, Mobile, Events Platform, APIs
Strategic thinker, analytical, detail/results oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and strong work ethic
Highly motivated self-starter and an evangelist for "doing things right" with a passionate desire to understand and deliver high quality solutions that meet customer needs
Experience with agile and DevOps practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional experience desired (not required)
Experience with Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud

Job Description
- Leads in the overall design of cross-functional, multi-platform, and Web-based application systems; oversees all application system processes.
- Develops application architecture and blueprints aimed at reflecting enterprise business logic.
- Defines application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools. Directs mapping activities on specific technology platforms.
- Provides technical guidance to application development teams. Consults on integration and conversion activities.
- Conducts reviews, and analyses organizational needs and goals to develop and implement applications.
