Desktop Support Technician

Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide technical support and deployment services in a manufacturing production environment. This role ensures smooth operation of endpoint devices and related technologies, delivering world-class service to internal employees.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for PCs, tablets, mobile devices, scanners, printers, and other peripherals in a production facility.
  • Perform PC reimaging, deployment, and refresh activities in an enterprise environment, including Autopilot configuration.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both remotely and deskside, ensuring minimal downtime and high user satisfaction.
  • Utilize IT Service Management best practices and ServiceNow for ticket handling and documentation.
  • Manage asset inventory for hardware devices and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in IT-related projects and deployments as required by the business and IT organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint support for PCs, tablets, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Strong background in PC imaging and deployment processes; Autopilot experience preferred.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues in an enterprise environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
