Summary:
You mention Windows 10 and 11 as well as imaging hardware is this primarily about deploying standardized workstation builds, or does it also include custom images for specialized depot equipment?
- Primarily about deploying standardized workstation builds, using PXE and MTD, to image or reimage machines that will be shipped to our end users.
How formalized is your hardware inventory management process is this role expected to simply track and update assets in ServiceNow, or actively manage inventory lifecycle (procurement, deployment, refresh, disposal)?
- The job here is to build and ship devices for refresh processing. Procurement will not be required.
How mature is your ITIL/ServiceNow practice in this area? Will this analyst be primarily closing tickets, or expected to help define processes (change, incident, asset management) at the depot level?
- ServiceNow will be used heavily to manage the tasks in the build room. Updating and closing tickets will be required.
When you mention project management, is that light coordination (tracking refreshes and scheduling resources) or more formal project management requiring reporting, planning, and vendor coordination?
- Project management is more targeted around the daily tasks and assignments give for build room.
Is the focus strictly on end-user device refresh in the depot, or will this role also support broader infrastructure troubleshooting (network, printers, servers) within the facility?
