Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Intune Engineer to support the deployment and ongoing management of over 20,000 Intune/Autopilot devices within a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and related platforms, excellent technical writing and documentation skills, and a background in managing large-scale IT projects.

This position requires collaboration with internal IT teams and multiple external agencies to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient endpoint solutions using Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Intune in a high-volume environment.

  • Build and manage Windows Autopilot deployment profiles and configurations.

  • Develop and enforce Intune Endpoint Security policies and compliance standards.

  • Create and manage Entra ID (Azure AD) Cloud Groups, including both dynamic and direct memberships.

  • Administer a large fleet of over 20,000 devices, ensuring consistency and performance.

  • Provide support and integration with related tools and platforms:

    • Microsoft Intune

    • Microsoft Entra / Azure AD

    • CoreView

    • Active Directory

    • ServiceNow

    • CA Unicenter

  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and process documentation.

  • Collaborate with various internal IT teams to deliver high-impact projects on time.

  • Work with external agencies on custom use-cases and implementation projects of varying scope and complexity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on IT experience, ideally in:

    • IT Asset Management

    • IT Customer Support

    • IT Service Delivery

    • Business Analysis or similar IT functions

  • Solid understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows domain environments, and Autopilot deployment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical information for diverse audiences.

  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Strong customer service orientation and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving IT landscape.

  • Able to prioritize workload effectively to meet implementation deadlines and resolve schedule conflicts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Certifications in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra/Azure AD, or related mobility platforms (preferred but not required).

  • Prior experience working in a state or government IT environment is a plus.
