Location: Fort Worth, TX – Hybrid 3 days a Week

The role is a part of the Governance as a Service product in Cloud & Engineering Platforms org.  You’ll bring your key aspects which will differentiate this role arepossessing working knowledge of latest industry best practices and trends in software delivery in Cloud in a secure, scalable, and reliable fashion.

What you’ll do

• Participate in the cloud governance workgroup to develop and maintain the standards for toolsets within AWS or other relevant cloud environments.
• Develop and implement best practices for service management, change processes, monitoring, and cost management that optimizes the existing infrastructure and eliminates redundant applications and tools.
• Ensure customer needs (product strategy objectives, user requirements, and technical environment compatibility) are met.
• Partner with Platform and Product teams to ensure collectively we’re building secure solutions leveraging modern software and infrastructure practices.
• Drive innovation by automating infrastructure via your hands-on expertise with IAC (Terraform)
• Technical – Experience Designing, Developing, Deploying, and/or Migrating to Cloud environments.
• 6+ years of work experience in infrastructure engineering or security engineering experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in distributed cloud computing.
• Programming language proficiency Python (or comparable object-oriented language)
• Keeps up with industry trends in security technology
• A critical eye for correct code
• Proficiency in testing your software

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM or Kanban,.
• Proficiency with delivering software leveraging CI/CD
• Proficiency with Azure
• Kubernetes would be a plus.
