Job Details
Role Title: Cloud Operations Engineer Kubernetes
Location: Washington, D.C/Remote 20% Onsite
Duration: Long term
Education: Bachelor's degree
Clearance: Public Trust- Full Clearance
Job type: Temp to Perm (Temporary resources to be converted to permanent AFS/ASM W2 after 6 months of service with no placement fee; include annual salary expectations)
Technical skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in AWS Administration
- 3-5 years of experience in Kubernetes
Role Description:
- Provide administration, operations, and support of AWS environment for an application to modernize API platform. Provide operations support for all development teams including all code promotions, Helm, flyway to all higher environments.
- Member of a cloud team that manages the cloud infrastructure, including several software components, in AWS making use of several AWS Service offerings. Provide operations support for all development teams including all code promotions, Helm, flyway to all higher environments. Lead Ops Integration team responsible for container, Helm, and flyway promotions. Lead other team members on ensuring standards are followed.
