Job Overview:
The Power BI Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of large capital projects. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to manage documentation, follow established processes, and maintain configuration management, and leverage Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Power BI Reporting: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insights into project performance and metrics.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze project data using Power BI to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Process Management: Follow and enforce established project management processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Documentation: Create, update, and manage project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and project plans.
  • Attention to Detail: Review and proofread documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Configuration Management: Maintain and update configuration management databases and systems to track project changes and ensure data integrity.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Support: Provide general administrative support to the project team, including handling correspondence, filing, and data entry.
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular project status reports and updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Expertise in Power BI, including creating dashboards and reports.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of configuration management principles is a plus.
Location: Wilmington, NC or Remote in USA allowed for qualified candidates (matching EST work time) Travel to Customer site as needed if remote.
Travel: 5 to 20%
