Role: Rust Software Developer/ Embedded Systems Engineer (Rust / C/C++) Location: Virginia - Herndon Full-Time
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer with strong skills in Rust and C/C++ development to support mission-critical defense projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in embedded software design, object-oriented programming, and secure system development. This role requires an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance at the time of submission.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software using Rust and C/C++.
- Perform object-oriented design and implement robust, secure embedded modules.
- Work closely with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and integrate embedded systems in real-time environments.
- Ensure compliance with defense and security standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Rust in embedded environments.
- Proficient in C and C++ development.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with embedded platforms, microcontrollers, and real-time systems.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and defense-grade software development.
