We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Lead to oversee our quality assurance processes and lead a team of QA engineers. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for planning and implementing testing strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including development, product, and operations to define test strategies and drive continuous improvement in product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers (manual and/or automation).
Define, implement, and manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases across multiple projects.
Develop and manage QA metrics and KPIs to measure test effectiveness and quality outcomes.
Evaluate and recommend QA tools, frameworks, and best practices.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).
Track and manage software defects and issues using tools like JIRA, TestRail, etc.
Create and maintain automated test suites (if applicable).
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing.
Proficiency with QA tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Postman, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Experience testing APIs, web applications, and/or mobile apps.
Preferred Qualifications:
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
