Position Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Project Manager to join the Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) system. This full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in educational systems, particularly within K 12 environments. While the position is primarily hybrid in Baltimore, remote arrangements may be considered for outstanding candidates at a competitive rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full project lifecycles, ensuring delivery on time and within scope
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary stakeholders across technical and educational departments
• Conduct and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Track and report project performance metrics
• Prepare detailed project status reports for leadership
• Delegate tasks, manage priorities, and ensure quality standards
• Coordinate and communicate with business, data, and IT teams

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
• Bachelor s degree (required)
• PMP certification (preferred)

Technical Skills & Tools

• Proficiency in SQL and ability to interpret complex data structures
• Experience with Azure SQL environments (as a user)
• Knowledge of data analytics and related reporting tools
• Strong familiarity with Office 365 applications
• Prior experience in K 12 school system environments highly desirable
