Program Manager Tech

Daily Schedule: Monday Friday 40hr/week
PREFERRED SKILLS

JOB DESCRIPTION :

TYPICAL DAY IN THE ROLE
- Purpose of the Team: The purpose of the Data Center Operations team supports the rhythm of the business for the VP and the leadership team. They run weekly staff meetings, preparing materials for off-site events, and addressing blockers within the region. Additionally, they are responsible for creating dashboards to track the health of the business, including people, processes, platforms, and programs.
- Key projects: This role will contribute towards the following initiatives,
- Health of the Business Dashboard: Creating a comprehensive dashboard using Power BI and Power Automate to consolidate various data sources and provide a one-stop shop for the VP to track people expenses, headcount, processes, meetings, programs, and platforms.
- SharePoint Site: Developing a clear and crisp SharePoint site with subsites to ensure smooth business operations and easy access to necessary documents and information.
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of the following,
40% Data Mapping and Integration: Identifying and integrating various data sources to create the health of the business dashboard.
40% Creating Views and Templates: Developing different views and templates for the dashboard, iterating based on feedback to ensure it meets the VP's needs.
10-20% Meetings: Regular meetings with manager and team with team to level set and discuss progress and updates.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
- Disqualifiers: Candidates that have never put together a dashboard before and the lack of Power BI and Power Automate experience will not be eligible for the role. Candidates submitted without samples of previously created dashboards will not rejected.
- Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain demonstrated experience in creating dashboards that are actively used by leadership for daily operations. Strong communication skills, proficiency in Power BI and Power Automate, and a proven track record of working independently to meet deadlines.
NICE TO HAVE: Someone who meets all the required skills but also has a technical background would make a candidate the best fit for this role because it enables them to integrate advanced tools like Copilot into the dashboard, enhancing its functionality and usability. A technical mindset would allow them to foresee and implement features that could be needed, ensuring the dashboard remains a valuable and dynamic resource for daily operations.
- Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work.
TOP 3 HARD SKILLS REQUIRED + YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience with Communication Skills and Calander Management: Essential for coordinating with various teams and ensuring accurate data integration
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience with Power BI and Power Automate. Proficiency skill level needed; Microsoft Office Suites, SharePoint, Dynamics 365
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience with Ability to Work Independently to Deadlines: Important for meeting project timelines and providing proactive updates.
**REQUIRED** Samples of previous dashboards that have been created and successfully implemented should be provided with resume.
HARD SKILLS ASSESSMENTS.
- Expected Dates that Hard Skills Assessments will be scheduled: ASAP
- Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will include 1 panel scheduled for 45minutes
- Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should have sample dashboards prepared and provided prior to the assessment.
Purpose: The Process Automation and Efficiency Contractor is responsible for driving operational efficiency within the Business Management Office through workflow automation and system optimization. This behind-the-scenes role focuses on reducing manual tasks, enhancing the Rhythm of Business (ROB), and enabling data-driven decision-making through the use of Microsoft tools and automation technologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Process Optimization & Automation:
- Automate Rhythm of Business (ROB) activities, including calendar scheduling across stakeholder groups.
- Design and maintain a ROB ChatBot to handle common queries and direct users to key resources.
- Develop a centralized ROB Directory with easy-to-navigate links within the Teams Channel.
- Identify and automate manual processes using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Use Copilot and AI tools to deliver insights that support smarter decision-making and improve engagement.
DATA MANAGEMENT & ANALYSIS
- Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI or Dynamics 365 to track and visualize key business metrics.
- Support new business needs and stakeholders with customized analytics and reporting.
KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
- Develop a centralized knowledge repository in SharePoint for storing team resources, project documentation, and reference materials.
- Integrate a Microsoft Teams chatbot to enable quick and intuitive access to information.
TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION & SUPPORT
- Research and resolve technical blockers related to executive communications, such as distribution lists, SharePoint access, and collaboration tools.
