Job Details

VDart Group is seeking a Project Engineer to play a key role in the design and construction of utility-scale solar farms. This position requires leading third-party contractors and collaborating with cross-functional teams to guide projects from concept and design through construction and commissioning.

We are looking for candidates who bring strong engineering expertise, leadership, and project management skills with a proven ability to balance reliability, cost, and performance in complex energy systems.

  • Location: Juno Beach, FL (Remote)
  • Duration/Term: Long Term Contract
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of engineering and project management experience (exceptions possible for strong, relevant backgrounds).
  • Preferred: experience with utility-scale solar engineering and project execution.
  • Experience in related fields such as DG/commercial solar, wind, BESS, combined cycle, nuclear, hydrogen, substation, or transmission also considered.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Candidates with engineering experience in industries such as aerospace or civil/stormwater are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee third-party contractors in the engineering and design of solar projects.
  • Manage engineering activities through all phases concept, design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across environmental, procurement, transmission services, and project management.
  • Apply value engineering principles to improve cost efficiency, reliability, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance across electrical, civil, structural, and material engineering standards.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver professional written and verbal communications to stakeholders.
