RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Manager of Product Quality & Process Improvement in Phoenix, AZ.

Key Tasks:
* Works with customers, marketing, sales, and operations teams to evaluate, approve, and manage product specifications; Integrates specifications across the Supply Chain to ensure the full customer product mix can be reliably and effectively produced
* Collaborates with Site Management to ensure product quality meets customer specifications; In partnership with Plant Management, identifies, prioritizes, plans, develops, coordinates, and executes high-impact process improvements and projects aimed at improving product quality; Ensures site ISO Certification is maintained
* Performs analysis to assess the Supply Chain's ability to meet customer specifications and identifies gaps in product offerings; Evaluates overall process capability and how to optimize processes from raw materials to finished goods; Collects, organizes, and maintains product quality data from mines and conversion units
* Analyzes customer specifications to identify trends and opportunities
* Develops and maintains value-added business processes for reviewing nonstandard products; Coordinates with site operations, sales, and customers to identify and resolve plant production quality issues or customer process challenges
* Partners with Operations Management to determine priorities, plan, budget, and execute projects that will maintain or improve product quality
* Provides guidance to Quality Analysts and Lab Management in developing best practices for inspection, testing, measuring, data analysis, product quality performance, and project execution
* Supports sites in maintaining ISO quality certification and other certifications as needed
* Delivers clear, effective written and verbal communications, presentations, and resources to site and regional leadership, internal departments, customers, regulators, and the public

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline (Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Process preferred)
* 5-10 years of operations experience, including supervisory or management roles, budgeting, project management, and quality management/analysis experience
* Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures in English; Ability to communicate effectively in English regarding job assignments, procedures, and applicable safety standards
* Ability to work in a potentially high-pressure environment
* Work performed primarily in an office setting, with occasional duties in outdoor or plant environments
* Regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, talk, hear, and see
* Occasionally required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) during the workday
* Use of personal protective equipment is required when working in outdoor or plant environments
* Up to 50% travel to company sites annually
* Ability to travel internationally 1-2 times per year, or as needed

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
