Description
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in New York, New York. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions to enhance operational efficiency and scalability. Responsibilities:
Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Create and manage configuration management scripts using tools like Ansible.
Optimize workflows and processes to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all systems and applications.
Document processes and solutions to maintain clear communication and knowledge sharing.
Utilize GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance practices.
Requirements
Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-based infrastructure.
Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
Advanced knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
Solid understanding of DevOps practices and methodologies.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively.
