Description
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain robust network solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity across our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate is experienced, meticulous, and has a passion for cutting-edge technologies along with a strong ability to collaborate with systems engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design and deploy network architectures that meet organizational needs, including software-defined networks and cloud-based platforms.
Configure and maintain Cisco networking solutions such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Implement and manage virtual networking solutions using VMware and Azure technologies.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with systems engineers to integrate networks and IT systems for comprehensive infrastructure solutions.
Ensure compliance with security protocols by managing firewalls and conducting regular audits.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to promote knowledge sharing and growth.
Document network configurations and provide training to users and staff as needed.
Work with project managers to deliver network solutions within established timelines and budgets.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance network performance.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
Expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, ASA, and wireless LAN controllers.
Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, including Palo Alto and Cisco Firepower.
Strong understanding of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and LAN/WAN configurations.
Hands-on experience with VMware infrastructure and Microsoft Azure platforms.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft 365 Enterprise solutions.
Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is highly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
