Location : Plano , TX (Hybrid role)
Interview : Phone and Webex
Duration : Long term Contract
NOTE: Candidates will be working on Rotational Shifts including weekends and the shift hours will be between 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM CST
Job Description
Managing and implementing end-to-end Linux based infrastructure that hosts many critical core components such as Database, GRID Computing, Enterprise Job Schedulers Messaging Platforms.
Work on migration projects related to servers, Active Directory OU , Datacentre, Non Permitted technology ,Upgrade of Applications , LEAPP, etc
Support and troubleshooting issue with servers infrastructure migrating to Azure Cloud
Support project related migration from Bare Metal to High performance VM's
Support Server infrastructure related to Generative AI applications
Supporting and monitoring application infrastructure and various internal core components and dependent technologies.
Ensures application issues on supported infrastructures are addressed, proactively fixed even before user impact.
Will work on tool development, automation, release management, troubleshooting issues, Capacity DR planning.
Note this role requires 2nd Shift Working hours and occasional weekend support on Rotation
Strong experience in Linux administration, programming experience in at least one language (Python, Shell scripting, etc.) .
Excellent Operational skills, troubleshooting Production and Network issues and identifying Root Cause Prevention.
Candidate should be able to connect the dots and conclude complex Infrastructure issues quickly with minimal supervision.
Capacity Management - Provide analysis of Infrastructure capacity review to ensure a sufficient level of infrastructure capacity, availability, and resiliency.
Exposure to Core troubleshooting Tools and Automation.
Strong experience in Infrastructure automation using either of Ansible or Python,
Self-motivated and results oriented with excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
Exposure and working experience with large scale environments.
