Location: Phoenix, AZ / Southlake, TX (Hybrid: 3-4 days onsite per week)

Contract: 12+ Months (possibility of extension)

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Lead with strong end-to-end project leadership experience. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions. You'll collaborate across teams, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions that shape the future of our platform.
Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of multi-platform application systems.
• Guide a scrum team in Java and cloud-native development (Spring Boot, PCF, etc.).
• Ensure high code quality through best practices, unit testing, and code reviews.
• Drive Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives and reusable development patterns.
• Collaborate in agile ceremonies and lead technical solutioning efforts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (HLDs, architecture docs, etc.).
• Coordinate with offshore teams and QA to ensure timely delivery.
• Champion security best practices and ensure vulnerability-free code.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, GitHub.
• Contribute to front-end development (preferably Angular or similar).
• Write and maintain unit tests and CI/CD pipelines for PCF environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5-7 years of software development experience.
• 3-5 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical teams.
• Strong system design skills for mid-to-large scale applications.
• Proficiency in SDLC, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence).
• Experience with Git-based version control and modern IDEs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to front-end frameworks like Angular.
• Experience with test-driven or behavior-driven development.
• Strong understanding of security, performance, and scalability principles.
