Job Description:
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
At AT&T, we empower leaders to drive change in a fast-evolving, connected world. Your strategic vision will help serve customers and transform lives through innovative solutions and impactful connections.
The Front-End Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality software solutions with a strong focus on automation, efficiency, and industry best practices. This role requires advanced coding skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5/ES6), and modern frameworks such as Angular or React. The ideal candidate possesses experience with responsive and accessible web development, REST APIs, automated testing frameworks (NightwatchJS, Jest, Mocha, Jasmine), version control (Git), and build tools (Webpack). Familiarity with templating languages (Handlebars, Mustache), NodeJS, Docker, and Google Analytics is a plus.
In addition to technical expertise, strong soft skills are essential: effective communication in a corporate environment, openness to knowledge sharing, professional respect for non-technical colleagues, and a collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving. The Front-End Developer is expected to empower teammates, continuously seek learning opportunities, and demonstrate adaptability by asking questions and overcoming challenges.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, estimate and design solutions, develop and implement automated tests, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and support deployment processes. The role often leads moderate-sized projects or components of larger initiatives, guiding peers and applying advanced principles and best practices.
A bachelor's degree in computer science (or related field) and 3+ years of relevant experience are desired. Certification may be required in some areas. The position does not include supervisory responsibilities but involves frequent interaction with senior leadership and the opportunity to make a strategic impact across multiple domain functions.
