Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional Consultant with deep expertise in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, specifically in iProcurement, Purchasing, and Workflow configurations. The consultant will be responsible for incident resolution, issue triage, and functional support of Oracle P2P modules in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide functional L2/L3 support for Oracle EBS iProcurement, Purchasing, and related workflow processes.
Analyze and resolve incidents, defects, and change requests tied to procurement processes.
Troubleshoot and coordinate with technical teams on workflow-related issues.
Engage with end-users and business stakeholders to understand pain points and deliver solutions aligned with Oracle best practices.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and suggest long-term fixes.
Maintain and update functional documentation, configuration setups, and test scripts.
Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) discussions for procurement-related changes.
Ensure timely support during critical periods such as month-end close and peak retail operations.
Collaborate with integration teams to resolve issues with upstream/downstream systems (e.g., WMS, Retail, B2B).
Operate within ServiceNow for ticket tracking and status updates.
Mandatory:
6+ years of Oracle EBS Functional experience, with at least 3 years in iProcurement and Purchasing modules.
Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay lifecycle and business process flows.
Experience with Oracle Workflow Builder for issue diagnosis and configuration reviews.
Familiarity with approval hierarchies, document types, AME, and PO matching processes.
Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data validation and issue troubleshooting.
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience supporting Oracle EBS R12.2.x, preferably 12.2.3 or later.
Comfort working in follow-the-sun support models with onshore/offshore collaboration.
Preferred:
Exposure to Self-Service Procurement (SSP), iSupplier Portal, or Inventory modules.
Familiarity with multi-language deployments (Chinese/Japanese) in EBS.
Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher for procurement reporting.
ITIL or Oracle certification is a plus.
