Data Engineer || Remote || W2

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team, focusing on developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and architecture. The ideal candidate will have broad domain experience in the financial sector, specifically retail and commercial banking products, investments, and trading. This role requires strong proficiency in cloud-native data warehousing and analytical tools to manage and process large-scale data sets, contributing directly to data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Design, construct, install, and maintain highly scalable data management systems and analytical infrastructure.
Develop and optimize data ingestion and transformation pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability.
Leverage modern data analytical utilities for query optimization and data exploration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data platform performance and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Broad experience within the financial domain, including retail and commercial banking products, investments, and trading.
Strong exposure to Snowflake, with a preference for candidates familiar with Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) data mapping and processes.
Proficient experience with data analytical utilities such as Dbeaver, Athena, SQL, and Snowflake console.
Deep knowledge of Enterprise Data Frameworks (EDF/DCAF) and the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).
