Google Cloud Platform Engineer

Position: Google Cloud Platform Engineer (Lead)

Location: 2-3 days a week on-site at Ashburn, VA (Hybrid)

Duration: Fulltime

Required Clearance: DHS/CBP or TS clearance is a plus

We're looking for a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) Engineer to design, build, and maintain our core cloud infrastructure. You'll be the go-to expert for all things related to Google Cloud Platform's foundational services, ensuring our platform is scalable, secure, and reliable. If you have a deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform's networking, storage, database and security features, we want to hear from you.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of working with Cloud technologies
• 3+ years of experience working directly with applications or resources in Google Cloud
• Proven experience as a Platform, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Deep, hands-on experience with foundational Google Cloud Platform services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and VPC.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs within a cloud environment.
• Experience with infrastructure such as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Google Cloud Platform certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect) is a plus.
• Experience with scripting tools such as Bash and Python
• Experience with Git, GitLab, Jenkins or Harness
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Existing DHS/CBP or TS clearance is a plus
