About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join a leading organization in the retail and consumer goods industry. This role focuses on leveraging advanced analytics and Generative AI (GenAI) technologies to drive innovation and deliver impactful business solutions. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving Large Language Models (LLMs) and context engineering to enhance customer experiences and optimize operations.

Job Description

  • As a Data Scientist, you will:Develop innovative solutions through exploratory data analysis of complex, high-dimensional datasets.
  • Apply expertise in statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to identify patterns, uncover opportunities, and answer critical business questions.
  • Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms to maximize data value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy solutions that have large-scale business impact.
  • Maintain and improve large codebases using industry best practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor s, Master s, or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research Industrial Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields, applying strong foundations in mathematical/statistical concepts and optimization.
  • 4+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) for innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrate ability to clean, transform, and analyze large datasets for actionable insights, using context engineering and advanced data visualization techniques.
  • Possess strong programming skills and experience in collaborative development environments, ensuring scalable and maintainable code.
  • Exhibit expertise in GenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering strategies, and evaluation techniques to design and optimize AI-driven solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of machine learning methods (supervised and unsupervised) and their applications to solve complex business problems.
  • Deliver solutions with measurable business impact, integrating optimization algorithms and simulation techniques where applicable.
  • Be self-driven and results-oriented, capable of meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments.

Preferred

  • Experience in retail or consumer goods analytics, applying context engineering for domain-specific insights.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and scalable data solutions to support enterprise-level deployments.
  • Advanced knowledge of simulation techniques and optimization algorithms for predictive modeling and decision-making.
