Senior DevOps Engineer

We are providing the opportunity to get in from the ground up in a fast-paced, agile environment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in Azure, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure-based infrastructure, as well as managing our continuous integration and delivery pipelines to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities

• - Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services.
• - Manage and automate infrastructure on Azure.
• - Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle, leveraging Azure services.
• - Monitor Azure infrastructure and application performance, implementing enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency.
• - Implement and maintain security best practices across Azure infrastructure and applications, leveraging Azure Security Center and Azure Policy.
• - Troubleshoot and resolve Azure infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner.
• - Mentor other technology team members and provide technical guidance and leadership in Azure technologies.

Qualifications

• - 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role with a focus on Azure.
• - Ability to design, implement, and integrate complex systems with guidance from stakeholders.
• - Strong experience with Azure services including but not limited to Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database, and Azure Storage.
• - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Services for CI/CD pipelines, release management, and application insights.
• - Experienced with Agile development practices and source control (git)
• - Experienced in maintenance of legacy applications.
• - Experience with Azure networking, security, and identity services such as Azure Virtual Network, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Key Vault.
• - Deep understanding of Azure monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• - Strong knowledge of Azure governance and compliance frameworks.
• - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• - Ability to work within a team in a collaborative manner.
• - Self-starter who is detail-oriented, quick-learner and deadline-driven
• - Willingness to research and implement new technologies and experiment with innovation.

Nice to have

• - Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar.
• - Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines as Code using YAML.
• - Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code best practices using Azure DevOps Repositories.
• - Experience with Azure DevOps extension development.
