Position - Java Lead (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite Woodland Hills, CA)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related technologies.
  • Architect and develop RESTful and/or event-driven microservices aligned with healthcare data requirements.
  • Ensure that solutions comply with healthcare standards such as HIPAA and data privacy best practices.
  • Mentor team members and conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards, reliability, and scalability.
  • Foster collaboration with Product, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines and efficient deployments.
  • Create and manage documentation for architecture, APIs, and system design.
  • Drive performance optimization, resiliency, and reliability in production systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience with backend Java development, preferably with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices.
  • Strong leadership experience guiding technical teams, conducting reviews, driving delivery in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Demonstrated capability in designing and scaling complex distributed systems.
  • Candidates must typically reside within a 50-mile or 1-hour commute to the assigned location.
