Role: MDG Technical Architect
Work location: Summit, NJ - onsite.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and configuration of the Business Partner domain in SAP MDG, including Customer and Vendor master data.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and MDG data models.
Configure MDG data models, UI (FPM), workflows (BRF+), validations, and derivations specific to the BP domain.
Ensure proper integration of MDG-BP with S/4HANA, ECC, and external systems, including CVI (Customer-Vendor Integration).
Support data migration, cleansing, enrichment, and data quality initiatives for BP master data.
Define and implement governance processes, including roles, responsibilities, and approval workflows.
Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) for BP-related MDG components.
Provide training and documentation to business users and data stewards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BP master data and MDG processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years of techno-functional SAP MDG experience, with a strong focus on the Business Partner domain.
Hands-on experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA, including configuration of BP data models, UI, and workflows.
Deep understanding of Customer-Vendor Integration (CVI) and its impact on BP data.
Knowledge of SAP MDG on BTP and Cloud-Ready functionality
Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and master data lifecycle management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
