AWS Architect

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for leading American Corporations. This is a Contract position and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Possible Contract to hire)

Role Description: The AWS Architect would need to have at least 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Product owners, Architects, Software Developers and QA team to perform requirements analysis on product feature and current implementation

- Create architecture design document for the developed solutions and ensure the solution addresses the business need.

- Creating or updating technical design documentation from existing technical documentation/user stories & Epic

- Analyze and assess existing business systems and defines the solution architecture for the design and integration of new and existing solutions

- Convert business and technical requirements into technology solutions and produce solution architecture artifacts like Architecture blueprint, Architecture design document etc.

- Create and maintain detailed documentation of technical design for system processes for the all the features migrated or being implemented in AWS cloud.

- Demonstrate good understanding of AWS cloud architecture

Qualification:

- Degree in computer science, MIS, Engineering or related discipline.

- 5+ year experience in architecting solutions build on AWS.

- At least 5 years of experience in architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise applications.

- Detailed knowledge of system design and implementation.

- Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis and converting them into technical requirements.

- Good understanding of AWS infrastructure, database architecture and networking.

- Excellent in writing technical architecture documentation.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio)

- Experience with cloud-based architecture & Software development, preferably with AWS

- Deep and broad technical knowledge with the ability to interface between business and technology.

- Solid technical background, with understanding of hands on experience in SDLC and AWS technologies.

- Familiarity with common enterprise architecture frameworks (ITIL, Zachman, TOGAF etc.)

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
