Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) projects. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge in SAP FICO modules, excellent stakeholder management skills, and proven experience in managing end-to-end SAP implementations or rollouts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP FICO implementation, rollout, or upgrade projects from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including technical consultants, developers, and business users.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure that SAP FICO configurations align with business processes and objectives.
- Provide guidance to the FICO team on configuration and integration points.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure project documentation is complete and up to date.
- Facilitate user training and change management initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in SAP FICO with at least 10 years in a project management role.
- Strong understanding of SAP FICO modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
- Experience with integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP).
- Solid understanding of business processes in finance and accounting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- PMP, Prince2, or SAP Activate certification is a plus.
- Experience in S/4HANA is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex project challenges.
- Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery models.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
