  • Server & Storage Management virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), backup, and disaster recovery
  • End-User Computing device rollouts, VDI, desktop transformation
  • Enterprise Tools Active Directory, SCCM, ITSM platforms
  • Security & Compliance infrastructure security, patch management, vulnerability remediation
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project/Program Manager with a strong background in managing IT Infrastructure projects to join our team on a long-term contract. This role requires exceptional communication, coordination, and leadership skills to drive complex infrastructure initiatives from planning through execution.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of infrastructure components (networks, servers, data centers, cloud, etc.), project management best practices, and stakeholder management across global teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience as a Project or Program Manager, specifically in infrastructure-focused environments
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components networks, data centers, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), server/storage, etc.
  • Proven experience managing global, cross-functional teams and complex technical projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Experience working with large enterprise clients and managed service providers is desirable
Key Responsibilities:
Project/Program Delivery:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple infrastructure projects across global environments.
  • Define and manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Track project progress using tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, or ServiceNow.
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions meet performance, security, compliance, and business continuity requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and cross-functional business units.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Report status, risks, and issues to leadership and manage stakeholder expectations proactively.
Governance & Compliance:
  • Ensure all infrastructure projects follow organizational standards, policies, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
  • Drive implementation of change management, documentation, and audit processes.
Risk & Issue Management:
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Establish contingency plans and recovery strategies when necessary.
Operational Handover:
  • Ensure smooth transition of projects into operations/support.
  • Develop runbooks, support documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving mindset
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP
  • ITIL Foundation or Intermediate
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals)
