Position: EDI Business Analyst (Job Id - WLPTJP00045925)

Location: Baltimore MD / Indianapolis IN (100% REMOTE)

Duration: 12 Months + Strong Possibility of Extension

Summary

  • Work with dynamic and multi-functional teams to help develop and/or enhance health IT applications on a day-to-day basis.
  • Follow an Agile methodology while performing in a highly collaborative environment to deliver incremental working software with end-to-end user experience in mind.
  • Work with the product teams and customer to capture product requirements as user stories with robust acceptance criteria that meet customer needs and address pain-points.
  • Conduct product analysis sessions, work group calls, user research, and usability testing and engage customers to provide requirements and feedback.
  • Working with sprint team to implement and accept user stories as defined and maintain Jira ticketing.
  • Develop and maintain/revise documentation including SOPs and system documentation.
  • Support quality assurance activities and testing.
  • Support agile metrics reporting.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting product development and quality assurance of health IT products (i.e., as a product analyst or business analyst).
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor s Degree.
  • Experience with agile delivery management working with sprint teams to implement solutions in line with product requirements and using agile collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Demonstrated abilities to analyze complex business processes and operations; represent user needs as user story requirements; and identify gaps and produce improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise creative and critical thinking to identify and evaluate alternatives toward arriving at decisions with stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to document complex problems in a simple & intuitive manner that others can understand.
  • Able to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
  • Experience with Electronic Data Interface (EDI) processing.
  • Experience with transactional systems including systems processing 270/271 transactions and/or other X12 data formats.
  • Knowledge of Medicare policies, programs, systems, and data.
  • Agile certifications relevant to product analyst roles.
  • Public Trust Clearance
  • This role requires the hired candidate to go through public clearance. A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is a must to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship
