The Tiger Analytics team is looking for a strategic-minded technology leader with a proven track record of identifying gaps, developing roadmaps, and taking solutions through to completion. We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect with strong expertise in life science data to help us design and develop our data architecture and analytics solutions. In a fast-paced, agile environment, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in software engineering, architecture, and large-scale delivery.

Professional Competencies:

10+ years of progressive experience in a Technical architect role, preferably within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry. Proven track record of successfully architecting, designing, and implementing advanced analytics capabilities. Must exhibit the ability to be trusted advisors for client leaders in delivering complex solutions, approaches, POVs etc.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineering Architect, with a strong emphasis on life science data projects.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL databases, Big Data technologies).
  • Experience and awareness of modern architecture principles such as data mesh, data fabric, serverless architecture, message queues etc.
  • Strong data architecture and modeling experience
  • Experience designing solutions using large and complex data sets
  • Exposure to designing robust Data Quality and Data Governance solutions
  • Experience with Modern data architecture - Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Message Queue
  • Experience with cloud databases such as Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks etc.
  • Strong experience with advanced SQL, Spark, Python, Glue and AWS
  • Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, Athena
  • Experience with scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
