Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Payroll Administrator / Payroll Business Process Lead with hands-on expertise in Oracle EBS R12 HRMS Payroll. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of payroll administration experience using Oracle EBS Payroll, Core HR, and Benefits modules. This is a remote role but may require occasional collaboration with IT and functional teams for payroll operations and support.
Note:
To be considered for this position, candidates must have used Oracle EBS Payroll actively for at least the last 4 years.
Unfortunately, resumes without hands-on Oracle EBS Payroll experience cannot be accepted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run bi-weekly payroll using Oracle EBS HRMS Payroll
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll processing issues and errors
- Handle payroll balance adjustments, payroll reversals, QuickPay, and year-end activities
- Provide functional requirements to the IT team for payroll enhancements and reporting
- Generate and validate various payroll reports, including government reporting and bank integrations
- Support and lead payroll activities related to mergers, acquisitions, implementations, and migrations
- Work closely with the Benefits and Core HR teams to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing
- Collaborate with users to identify and resolve day-to-day payroll challenges
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state payroll regulations
- Bonus: Familiarity with EBS Payroll tables and writing basic SQL queries over payroll data
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on payroll administration experience using Oracle EBS R12 HRMS Payroll
- Strong knowledge of Core HR, Benefits, and Payroll modules within Oracle EBS
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, adjusting balances, and running payroll reports
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and data migrations in a payroll environment
- Ability to work independently, manage bi-weekly payroll timelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of payroll compliance, reporting, and banking file integrations
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS payroll database tables
- Ability to write basic SQL queries
- Exposure to functional testing and UAT for payroll processes
