Overview: Our client is seeking a Junior Software/Application Developer to support the design and delivery of IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions and custom business applications for government systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational development experience to advance their skills using modern platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of ITSM solutions and custom applications
- Assist with building applications to automate IT service processes
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to achieve project objectives
- Conduct application testing and troubleshooting
- Document application configurations and workflows
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent; OR Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certification
- 2 years of software/application development experience
- No baseline certification required per project requirements
Required Skills:
- Basic development experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) or SharePoint
- Familiarity with JavaScript / TypeScript
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 / Azure ecosystem
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Ability to work in an Agile team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing APIs or integration solutions
- Familiarity with Jira or similar Agile project management tools
- Exposure to UI/UX principles
