Job Title: Product Designer
Location: Hybrid - South Carolina , United States
Travel: Occasional
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Product Designer . In this role, you will lead the full product design process-from discovery to final Figma designs-for complex, enterprise-level web applications. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience for our financial software platforms, helping us deliver intuitive, effective tools that meet both business needs and user goals.
This is not a UI/web design or mobile app role. We are seeking a strategic, systems-level thinker who thrives in enterprise environments and can drive design thinking end to end with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product design initiatives from concept to launch for financial web applications
- Facilitate design thinking workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to define problems and uncover user needs
- Conduct discovery research, including stakeholder interviews, user interviews, and requirements gathering
- Translate insights into workflows, wireframes, and high-fidelity design prototypes using Figma
- Partner closely with product managers, developers, and UX researchers to deliver scalable, user-centered solutions
- Create clear documentation and specifications for development handoff
- Support and sometimes lead usability testing and iteration
- Maintain a strong understanding of UX best practices, especially in complex software systems
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer (or equivalent role) with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work
- Proven ability to work independently and drive projects with little supervision
- Expertise in enterprise application design-experience working on large-scale, data-rich systems used by businesses or institutions
- Strong proficiency in Figma, plus familiarity with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills-both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Comfortable leading multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have:
- Background in the financial industry.
- Experience conducting user testing and presenting results to stakeholders
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows
