RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a P&C Business Analyst in Madison, WI.

Responsibilities:
* P&C Business Analyst will document requirements/functional designs based on the development methodology used for the policy application system
* Develops the business requirements/functional design documents by translating the needs, expectations, constraints, and interfaces into a format understandable to both clients and technologists
* Completes activities according to best practices, standard operating procedures, and team member guidance, consistently meeting quality standards and striving to add value in each activity
* Acts as a knowledge source for architects, developers, and testers
* Evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
* Analyzes requirements to determine whether they satisfy the objectives of higher-level requirements
* Analyzes requirements to ensure that they are complete, feasible, realizable, and verifiable
* Identifies key requirements that have a strong influence on cost, schedule, functionality, risk, or performance
* As a P&C Business Analyst, you will represent requirements textually as well as via visual models and graphical form, to communicate the requirements effectively to the required audience
* Analyzes operational concepts and scenarios to refine the business needs, constraints, and interfaces and to discover new requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of knowledge of personal lines insurance (Automobile and Homeowners); Knowledge of Massachusetts Automobile insurance is a plus
* Ratabase knowledge
* OneShield personal lines platform knowledge
* OneShield Designer knowledge
* JIRA knowledge
* Service Now knowledge
* Microsoft Office skills necessary (especially Excel)
* Looking for an individual that can work in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn
* Someone that works well under pressure

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
