(Post 2-4 week Onsite Training - 30 Rockefeller Plaza New York, NY - Fully Remote)
As a Virtual M&A Delivery Contractor with grounded exposure to accounting issues and reporting requirements, you will work virtually while researching and working with M&A teams on a broad spectrum of deal and accounting matters including issues in accounting for business combinations, consolidations, revenue recognition, leasing, and financial instruments. In addition, you will have the opportunity to directly deliver highly valued service to clients through working on a diverse array of M&A engagements across multiple industries.
You will:
- Demonstrate an ability to identify and evaluate business, industry, financial, related transactions potential deal breakers , and deal-specific risks and opportunities
- Evaluate targets historical and projected earnings and cash flows; hidden contingencies, commitments; as well as quality of assets
- Communicate deal issues to clients in concise, written deliverables.
In this delivery-model role, contractors focus on project execution, providing high quality service without the demands of travel, business development, or client-relationship management.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor s Degree
- Minimum of one year experience doing financial due diligence
- Minimum of 4 + years of US GAAP Accounting experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- CPA, CA certification
- Masters in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Audit experience with PCAOB registered public accounting firm
