IT Concepts is seeking a SharePoint/Power Automate Administrator who will support several projects at a federal agency. The position is located in Woodlawn, MD. The qualified candidate should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with sharp attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in web and or SharePoint development (i.e. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tableau, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath Designer), implementing software code, and debugging technical issues. Ability to research, test, build, and coordinate integration per government and corporate requirements.

We are looking for a flexible SharePoint developer who has experience delivering web solutions for the federal government and is comfortable working with government leads to develop solutions. This role requires you to be familiar with Agile development methodologies. We prefer candidates who are unafraid to tackle new technologies and stretch their competencies to areas of development that they may not have encountered before.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop customized SharePoint solutions that align with federal government requirements and security standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements, translating them into technical specifications and design documents.
  • Lead the development, configuration, and deployment of SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and other components to address business needs.
  • Implement user interface designs and ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience across SharePoint sites.
  • Integrate SharePoint solutions with other systems and applications, ensuring data consistency and interoperability.
  • Develop custom web parts, applications, and solutions using SharePoint technologies (SharePoint Framework, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance and assisting in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Perform thorough testing of SharePoint solutions to ensure high quality and reliable performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint and industry trends, recommending best practices and improvements to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure SharePoint solutions comply with federal government security policies and standards.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance development processes and capabilities.

Requirements
  • 5+ years experience developing, designing, implementing, administration and testing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, PowerApps, etc. (SharePoint 2010/2013/2019)
  • 5+ Experience using with C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to develop SharePoint features/modules
  • BS/BA with 8+ years of web development experience
  • Experience in front end web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery
  • Experience using relational and non-relational databases, with a good knowledge of SQL
  • Experience using data visualization tools like PowerBI
  • Experience with scripting using Microsoft Visual Studio and NotePad++
  • Experience with deploying features via the SharePoint server
  • Experience with SharePoint webparts
  • Experience with SharePoint API
  • Experience with SharePoint server side scripting
  • Experience with SharePoint server maintenance
  • Experience with editing and creating MasterPages, subsites, and page layout
  • Experience with MicroSoft Copilot (preferred)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Web Applications certification (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills along with the ability to present technical data and approaches to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently or as the leader of a team as required
  • Provides expert, independent support and leadership by coordinating, producing, or reviewing processes and documentation on complex issues, such as systems design, architecture, feasibility studies, system specifications reflecting detailed knowledge of technical areas
