Description

We are looking for a skilled SEO Specialist to enhance the online visibility and performance of our digital platforms. This role involves optimizing content and technical elements to align with best practices, ensuring a strong online presence for our organization. Based in Minnesota, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful digital strategies.

An SEO Analyst plays a crucial role in improving search performance by combining technical expertise, analytical skills, and content strategy. Key responsibilities include conducting keyword and topic research to understand consumer intent, developing and implementing SEO content plans, performing on-page optimization, and delivering geo-targeted recommendations for local search visibility. The role involves creating actionable insights from tools like Adobe Analytics, optimizing website architecture, identifying competitive gaps, and aligning SEO with content, social, and search advertising strategies.

The SEO Analyst will partner with cross-functional marketing teams to ensure best practices are integrated, regularly report on organic performance, and develop off-site optimization strategies to drive search visibility. Additional responsibilities may include managing PPC campaigns and providing data-driven optimization recommendations for improving spend effectiveness. Staying current on SEO trends through local and national communities is essential.

This role demands a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to adapt strategies to meet client goals in the competitive digital landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading and managing teams
  • 3+ years of SEO experience, with a blend of technical and content expertise preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; self-motivated and open to coaching.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in quantitative/qualitative analysis, storytelling with data, and tools like Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools)
  • Ahrefs
  • Moz and Open Site Explorer
  • Screaming Frog

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Consumer brand experience
  • Adobe Analytics experience
  • Enterprise SEO tool (BrightEdge, Conductor)
  • Team and project leadership
