Job Details

Job title: Proofpoint Engineer
Location: Alameda, CA (Onsite need only locals)
Duration: contract
Need only locals
  • Proofpoint deployment project and support. Expertise in migrating from Mimecast and integrating with Exchange Online
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    Overview:
  • Migrate our Email Security Gateway from Mimecast to Proofpoint and ensure seamless integration with Exchange Online.
    Scale:
    Experience with an organization of at least 2,000 or more user accounts.
    Requirements:
    Prior knowledge of and experience with implementing the following Proofpoint products/modules:
    o Secure Email Gateway (SEG)
    o Targeted Attack Protection (TAP)
    o Account Takeover Protection (ATP)
    o Email Fraud Defense (EFD 360 Unlimited)
    o Secure Email Relay
    o Supplier Threat Protection
    o Continuity+
    o Email DLP & Encryption
    o Adaptive Email DLP
    Extensive experience configuring, managing, and securing Exchange Online
    Mimecast Email Gateway deployment, configuration, and management experience is a plus
    Pacific Time Zone working hours are required; Part-time/occasional on-site is a plus

    We are looking for a resource who can step right in with minimal ramp-up time and get us through the configuration and setup of Proofpoint without compromising our security posture or jeopardizing mail flow.
