Senior Security Architect

VDart is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to join our Enterprise Security Architecture team. This senior-level role is ideal for cybersecurity professionals with a strong foundation in security architecture, risk analysis, and enterprise-level assessments. You will play a key role in enhancing our enterprise security posture, developing security standards and blueprints, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance frameworks

Title: Senior Security Architect - Cloud Security (AWS, Azure), Endpoint Security

• Location: Juno Beach, FL
• Duration: Long Term

Areas of Focus:

• Network Security: Evaluate firewall configurations, IDS/IPS, and other infrastructure security controls.
• Cloud Security: Assess AWS and Azure environments for compliance with industry security best practices.
• Endpoint Security: Analyze EDR tools, anti-malware, antivirus, and encryption deployments.
• Application & Data Security: Conduct threat modeling, assess DLP strategies, and evaluate data encryption measures.
• IAM & Access Management: Review Active Directory, SSO, and MFA configurations for security and compliance.
• Mobile & OT Security: Assess MDM solutions and operational technology (OT) communication protocols.
• Framework Alignment: Ensure controls and processes align with NIST, CIS, CIP, ISO, and SOX frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in IT security with at least 3 years in a senior or architectural role.
• Expertise in enterprise security architecture, control frameworks, and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Strong background working in large, complex enterprise environments with diverse platforms and technologies.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, or AWS/Azure security certifications are a plus.
