Job Details
The Manager of Interface Teams, Epic Bridges, Specialty Systems, and Data Archiving is responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the design, implementation, and maintenance of healthcare system integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between Epic and various specialty and legacy systems. This role oversees the development and support of Epic Bridges interfaces, coordinates with stakeholders across departments, and ensures compliance with data governance and archiving policies.
The manager will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and project management for interface initiatives, emphasizing performance optimization, reliability, and data integrity. Additionally, this role will lead efforts in managing the lifecycle of data archiving solutions, ensuring secure and compliant retention of healthcare data while supporting decommissioning of legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team responsible for interfaces, data archiving, and specialty system support.
Oversee the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Epic Bridges interfaces and other HL7/FHIR-based integrations.
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to support integration needs for specialty systems.
Ensure data archiving strategies align with organizational, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations with Epic and other platforms.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, system upgrades, and workflow optimization.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and change control processes for all supported systems and interfaces.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate evidence of/prior experience with:
Strong knowledge of Epic Bridges, HL7 standards, FHIR, and interface engine technologies
Provides effective leadership to team/ work group.
Models effective communication and collaboration skills / behaviors.
Takes action to achieve measurable results.
Supports innovation and organizational change to improve effectiveness.
Develops talent and coaches peers and others to develop their capabilities.
Manages within approved budget.
Applies knowledge of functional area to effectively manage operations.
Holds staff accountable for meeting external and/or internal customer needs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred. Experience: 3 years progressively more responsible experience required Licensure: None required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
