Informatica IDMC Solution Architect

The Informatica Solution Architect is a client facing lead role accountable for developing a technical
strategy, design, and execute the implementation to meet identified and prioritized use cases within the
IDMC platform. They must deliver comprehensive, extensible, and industry best practice designs and
supporting documentation.

What You'll be Doing:

Provide thought leadership, frameworks, best practices and subject matter expertise required to
deliver effective Data Governance and Management solutions to Client within IDMC.
Conduct or participate in meetings, workshops and interviews with business and IT stakeholders
to understand how the IDMC strategy should be designed to support the future Data Governance
needs.
Advise in use case development to ensure appropriate business alignment with technical
capabilities to optimize the IDMC feature set.
Translate business and technical requirements into IDMC architecture, designs, and blueprints,
as well as oversee the implementation and validate outcome with users.
Ensure IDMC architecture is built for scalability to support the future roadmap strategy.
Assess, recommend, and implement capabilities related to business and technical metadata, data
lineage, data profiling, data quality improvement efforts, and issue/request management.

What You Should Have:

Bachelor s Degree and 5+ years of data management experience.
5+ hands-on IDMC solution design and implementations completed.
Consulting experience (internal or external).
Outstanding teamwork skills.
In-depth knowledge of data governance and data management concepts and approaches, and
the role of data governance in the successful implementation of data strategy.
Advanced analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills with demonstrated
ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Hands-on strategic and implementation delivery experience of the IDMC platform modules
including, but not limited to:
o Data Integration
o API & Application Integration
o Data Quality
o Master Data Management
o Customer and Business 360
o Data Catalog & Marketplace
o Governance and Privacy.
Deep hands-on experience with IDMC certifications including, but not limited to:
o CAI
o CDI
o CDQ
o CDGC
o MDM MDE
o MDM 360.
Hands-on IDMC capabilities including (but not limited to):
o Configure Runtime Environments
o Configure file servers and create file server users

o Setup advanced clusters
o Create connections
o Create data profile project
o Initial import from sources to build technical data
o Build complex data quality rules
o Build access management policies and rules.
Strong written/oral communication and presentation skills.
Ability to analyze complex environments, distill concepts and present to clients.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Must be able to travel to client sites
Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) is a plus.
