DPP is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work arrangement:
  • Partial onsite: 2-3 days onsite per week and as needed is preferred
  • W2 position; 6 months contract to hire opportunity
  • Candidates who are foreign nationals must have resided in the US for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years prior to assignment to the client s applicable government contract.
Position summary:
  • The Sr. Full-Stack Java Developer will build and maintain full-stack Java applications while working within a DevSecOps-enabled environment. They will write and maintain application code that flows through the existing pipeline (but not administering the DevSecOps pipeline).
  • This is a senior role requiring leadership skills.
  • The ideal candidate has experience interfacing with Business Analysts and Customers to develop a full understanding of the customer needs and then developing the appropriate technical/procedure solution.
About the team:
  • The team works with a Java development tech stack.
  • They support over 50+ applications and routinely handle contract modifications and new contracts that often require greenfield development.
  • They operate as an Agile team, described as close-knit and collaborative.
  • The team is currently working on a new chat channel project that requires automation to deliver a differentiating customer experience.
Required technologies:
  • DevSecOps experience is a must
  • Sonar Cube

Nice to have:
  • Junit/Spring test framework experience
  • SOAP/Rest Services experience
  • JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, Angular, NodeJS, React JS experience

  • Cloud services
Minimum required work experience:
  • 8 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience.
Required education/equivalencies:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
  • OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
  • OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 12 years without a degree)
