Scope of Services

It is the intent of this document to outline a general description of the Scope of Services, the extent of services required, the relationship of this Scope of Services to other work and the agencies or other parties that will interact with the Supplier. The contents of this document are considered representative of the Scope of Services but are by no means conclusive.

Potential Assignments are:

• Install and configure Cognos Analytics environment on new servers. This includes upgrading from our current environment on 11.1 to version 12.0 or a later version as recommended. The environments include a QA environment which is currently single server and a production environment which is currently on three servers.
• Configure Cognos Analytics servers post installation. These tasks include migrating content including framework models, reporting packages, and users for all environments, setting up SSL and SAML, completing all relevant setups required for Cognos Framework Manager installation.
• Identify and document tasks necessary to perform needed work. Provide install and configuration process documentation. Provide post-upgrade support through the first system patching period to ensure functionality beyond the initial implementation.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in Cognos Analytics management.
• Experience with Cognos Analytics installation and configuration.
• Experience with migrating Cognos Analytics environments including framework models, reporting packages, reports, and users.
• Experience conversion from Active Directory to SAML for Cognos.
• Experience with SSL setup and implementation for a Cognos environment.
• Experience with Cognos Analytics on Windows Server environments.
