About Job

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Project Manager to support and lead a critical cross-functional technology project.
• This role will be responsible for coordinating an initiative across internal technology development teams and key business stakeholders, including Tax, Legal, Client Product Solutions (CPS), and Finance.
• The Project Manager will oversee initiatives through the full project lifecycle, from planning and development through Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to final deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Lifecycle Management:
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery from initiation through deployment, including:
    • Requirements gathering
    • Development coordination
    • QA and testing oversight
    • UAT planning and execution
    • Production release and post-launch support
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.

Cross-Team Coordination:

• Act as the liaison between technology teams and business units (Tax, Legal, CPS, Finance) to ensure alignment of goals and priorities.
• Translate business requirements into actionable development tasks, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
• Facilitate coordination across developers, QA analysts, UAT participants, and operations teams.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts across functions.

Lead regular status meetings and provide transparent reporting on progress, issues, and risks.

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure consistent alignment across all phases of delivery.

Process & Quality Focus:

Champion structured project delivery methods (Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall, as appropriate).

Ensure that QA and UAT phases are planned, resourced, and executed effectively to maintain delivery quality.

Contribute to continuous improvement of project processes, documentation standards, and governance protocols.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

5+ years of experience managing technology projects in a cross-functional business environment.

Prior experience working with business teams such as Legal, Tax, Finance, or Client Product Solutions is strongly preferred.

Technical Proficiency

Working knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project delivery tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet).

Familiarity with testing cycles including QA and UAT, and their integration into development workflows.

Ability to understand technical discussions and communicate effectively between business and technical teams.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Analytical and resourceful, with a proactive approach to solving problems and removing blockers.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum).

Experience in financial services, legal technology, or tax compliance systems.

Exposure to enterprise business applications used in Tax, Legal, CPS, or Finance.
