Job Description:

Apex Systems is hiring for a Faxcom Systems Engineer for a major Healthcare company.

12-month contract with possibility to extend.

FULLY REMOTE anywhere in the United States, must be ok supporting CST hours.

You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

About the role:

This is role is for an intermediate to advanced electronic faxing support engineer.

Faxcom is a large, robust, complicated enterprise efax system with many integrations and support requirements.

You will be supporting the client's growing enterprise Faxcom system, by managing end-user requests and issues in a timely manner, and correlating related issues and solutions.

The team is highly collaborative and will frequently work with surrounding technologies and services supporting Faxcom to resolve issues.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors degree in a quantitative or business field

3-5 years with Faxcom administration

Experience with SQL Scripting, PowerShell

Telephony as it relates to the Faxcom application, network protocols

Technical Skills:

Engineer-level administration experience with Faxcom

Additional nice-to-haves:

ITIL certification

Soft Skills:

Seeks to acquire knowledge in Faxcom and related processes

Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to work independently

Demonstrates analytical skills

Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure

Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision-making skills

Day to Day:

Perform daily checks of Faxcom system error and alerts, troubleshoot issues, and communicate health of the system to team.

Monitor ServiceNow for reported issues and requests, manage the technical work required, respond to users in a timely manner.

Comply with corporate and Fax Technology standards and policies.

Responsibilities will include:

Review, troubleshoot, assign end-user issues and requests, respond or resolve in a timely manner.

Track and follow-up on reported issues or requests and update the end-user.

Manage daily Faxcom system checks and review team documentation, notes, and learned processes to ensure health of Faxcom system.

Troubleshoot Faxcom errors and monitoring alerts.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Complies with all policies and standards.
